Thursday the March 27th Art walk to Mexico with the Mayors of Presidio and Ojinaga for a night on the town with Art, Food and Music, Mexican Style.
Friday March 28th Is the Art show by famous western artist, Edgar Sotelo starting at 6 at the 1st Presidio Bank. Wine and snacks will be served. The Empty Bowls project to eliminate hunger with have hand glazed bowls available for sale to benefit the Presidio Food bank for a 10 dollar donation or more. You even get a bowl of really good soup in the deal. Student Art will be there too for a Silent Auction.
Saturday March 29th THE BIG AND LONG DAY & NIGHT Event. Down Town Presidio will have a art show, Cabrito Cook Off, Vendors and Music all day. When the Sun Goes Down, is Free Street Dance. Its BYOB event. Just Remember, “If you Drink Don’t Drive.” Designate a Driver.
Artist welcome to Show and Sale their work free of Charge. Food vendors fee is $45.00.

City Mayor John Ferguson invites you to participate in this annual spring event. March 31 to April 4 City Crews will pick up large items by appointment. Adopt your Block on Saturday April 5th
Tired of the blow in debris in you neighborhood? As part of the Texas Trash off get together with you neighbors and join in to clean up your block. Afterwards join us at Daly Park for a free Hog Dog Lunch from 1pm to 3pm. Enjoy free music, food, and fellowship. Be Presidio Proud and participate.

Presidio is reaching out to the world in the upcoming issue of Trade and Industry Development magazine in the Nov. Dec. Issue. This entry will feature Ports of Entry, of course Presidio is the only Port of Entry between El Paso Ports And Del Rio, Texas. What’s New in Water?
The City of Presidio Water and Parks Staff have been busy building a new Drinking water Booster Pump Station and Building. The City Crews did over the $45,000 match with a USDA Community Development Block Grant to build a new Drinking water booster station. The new booster station will increase pumping efficiency to the City Stand pipe that provides water pressure to the City of Presidio. The Old Booster pump will serve as back up to the new system and will be refurbished in the near future to expand the City’s Water infrastructure for future growth.
