Mayor John Ferguson, Alderman Mario Vargas, and Alderman Armando Sanez-Albo

 

On May 20th a Special Council meeting was held at noon at City Hall with Mayor Obed Escontrias presiding , Councilmen Rafa Carrera, Edgar Sotelo, Oscar Moreno and Butch Acosta were in attendance to canvas the May 11, 2013 City of Presidio Municipal Election Results as presented by Election Judge, Vivi Cantano.

The motion to accept the votes canvas was made by Butch Acosta and Seconded by Rafa Carrera, The motion passed with all in favor. The special council meeting meeting was then adjourned.

The election votes being officially canvased, Municipal Judge, Vivi Cantano administered the Oaths of Office to the incoming Mayor and City Council members. The oath of Mayor was taken by John Ferguson, and the oath for Council Members was taken by Mario Vargas and Armando Saenz.

The new City Council member’s next regular scheduled meeting will be held on June 13, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at the Presidio Activity Center. The new City Council Membership is Mayor John Ferguson, Mayor Pro-tem, Rafael Carrera, Aldermen, Edgar Sotelo, Oscar Moreno, Armando Saenz and Mario Vargas.

Presidio Aquatic Center Hours and fees

Fees

General Admission: 12 and under $3.00, Older $4.00

Monday Family Special: $2.00

Monthly Pass: $30.00

Season passes are issued at City Hall, 507 W. O’Reilly St., Presidio, Texas during regular business hours.

Season Pass: $80.00

Family of 4 season pass $200.00 additional immediate family members added is $30.00. 

Swimming Lessons: $65.00 for 8 lessons

 

Party fees and restrictions

2 hour Swim Parties for up to 50 people after regular pool hours for $200.00.

Rates for larger or longer parties is an additional $100.00 per hour.

Special requests or conditions will be determined by the City Administrator.

No cooking or alcohol beverages are allowed within the main pool area at any time.

 

WHEREAS; regular pool hours established are:

Sundays thru Fridays: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Saturdays: 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
